Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Manage overall functions of the Warehouse and ensure Sales are served in line with company objectives. Be the link between 3PL, Sales and other Functions in achieving day to day objectives and ensure timely escalation of events / issues which needs to be addressed.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure that the agreed DOH is maintained in the warehouse. Based on the weekly forecast shared by the commercial team, all required stocks should to be available in the warehouse as per FCST, following coordination with the planning, transportation, and plant warehouse teams.
  • Issue accurate reports on slow / Non-moving inventories and ensure it is issued according to FEFO guidelines or to an agreed liquidation plan.
  • Follow-up on Pending Orders for shipments for all channels in order of priorities set by sales and in line with company process.
  • Ensure all the daily and monthly reports including KPI / Stands are issued accurately and in time.
  • All new SKUs added in the network are to be communicated to sales, ensure Master Data details shared with PL and the codes are validated for storage parameters and updated for In-bound receipts in coordination with CCC Master data, supply planning, Demand Planning and BIS.
  • Track freshness of products by making sure that all FEFO procedures are followed by scrapping QA rejection based on approved write‑off request as per SOA, in-house expiry to be reported, blocked & scrapped based on approved WOR, production defects and stales from market in‑time and with proper documentation as per stales policy. Coordinate with HR, 3PL and Municipality for destruction with all supporting documentation as per PEP+ guidelines. Further coordinate with plant WH team, Freight and Transporter to dispose stales following sales policy. Ensure same transactions are reflected in 3PL inventory records to avoid incremental storage charges.
  • Daily follow‑up on in-bound shipments with Plant, Freight and 3PL. Prioritise on low inventory items (Out of stocks SKUs) vs weekly Forecast shared aiming higher Demand Compliance by extending the service time with 3PL.
  • Coordinate with BIS team and 3PL IT team to rectify any failed Interface transactions
  • Consolidate all customer acknowledged invoices from 3PL. Daily follow‑up pending PODs. Coordinate with Sales and 3PL to conclude on Invoices held by customers.
  • Process Returns in SAP on daily basis and verify the data is interfaced in SAP before forwarding the documents to Finance. Secondly process Sales Returns (Stales and Production Damages) in MEA S&W to facilitate returns from Salesmen / Customers
  • Coordinate with Sales and 3Pl for receiving, storage and issuance of POS materials including Display Racks. Making sure a right inventory count is maintained as shared with commercial team based on their request.
  • Ensure all Food Safety standards are followed by regular checks inside HDC, Stockiest & 3PL PEP WH supervisors to agree with 3PL WHS and performed weekly inspection inside the WH to make sure all Pepsico agreed food safety standards are followed as per contractual agreement. In case any Non‑compliance noticed to be reported to respective 3PL key account manager / 3PL WH Supervisor and get the issues fixed immediately with a proper corrective & preventive action in place.
  • Stock in Transit should be monitored regularly and cleared in coordination with receiving Plant / DC and Freight and documented well by email. This is a key control in warehouse.
  • All Incidents (EHS / QFS) should be reported in time and with correct documentation to proper reporting channel in coordination to his direct manager.
  • Coordinate with Sales and 3PL to create new customers in 3PL Master Data
Qualifications

Academic Qualification / Knowledge

Bachelor’s in engineering / finance faculty / Business administration

Experience

1 years in warehouse, preferably in FMCGS.
