KBR is looking for a QA/QC Instrument Engineer to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to mechanical works in accordance with the organization's standard.
- Can supervise & follow up instrumentation progress of works, installation & commissioning of different units.
- Able to plan & control the inspection of all instrumentation works and related activities.
- With experience in testing & commissioning of instrumentation works.
- Monitor the final inspection of completed instrumentation works before handing over to the client.
- Able to review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents.
- Review instrumentation materials submittals for compliance with contract documents.
- Review instrumentation specifications & calculations for conformance with contract documents.
- Implement the SATORP instrumentation quality assurance plan.
- Review as‑built drawings of instrumentation work, operation & maintenance manuals and warranty.
- Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures.
- Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
- Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
- Bachelor degree holder in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in oil & gas maintenance.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
- High maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
- Strategic management skills.
