Position Objectives:

  • To drive the strategic growth and optimization of the fiber optic network by developing and implementing long-term plans that maximize network utilization, expand market reach, and enhance profitability.
  • This involves conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, collaborating with network engineers to optimize network design and performance, and developing financial models to evaluate the profitability of network investments and strategic initiatives.
  • The role requires engaging with internal and external stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and recommending new technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities and reduce costs.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and understand customer needs.
  • Analyze network performance data and identify areas for improvement in network utilization and efficiency.
  • Develop insights into emerging trends and technologies in the fiber optic industry.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for fiber optic network expansion and optimization.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress toward strategic goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities and reduce costs.
  • Develop business cases for new network investments and expansion projects.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate the profitability of network investments and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze financial performance data and identify opportunities to improve revenue and reduce expenses.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with network engineers to optimize network design and performance.
  • Develop strategies to improve network reliability, resilience, and scalability.
  • Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams, to align on strategic priorities.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, such as customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to build strong relationships and partnerships
  • Network Utilization: Measure the efficiency and utilization of the fiber optic network infrastructure.
  • Revenue Growth: Track the increase in revenue generated from fiber optic services.
  • Profitability: Monitor the overall profitability of the fiber optic business.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Assess and improve customer satisfaction with fiber optic services.
  • Investment Performance: Evaluate the success and profitability of network investments and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor&aposs or Master&aposs degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electrical, or related field) or Business Administration with a technical focus.
  • 15+ years of experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of fiber optic technology, network architecture, and transmission systems.
  • Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or fiber optic domain is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic would be beneficial.
