JOB PURPOSE
The Interface Management Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing all internal and external interfaces related to the Aerodrome Hard Facilities Management Services project. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication, and facilitating effective collaboration to achieve project objectives and maintain efficient airport operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
•Develop and maintain an Interface Management Plan outlining procedures and protocols for managing various interfaces throughout the project lifecycle (Mobilization, Commencement, and ongoing Services Delivery).
•Proactively identify and resolve internal and external interface issues, coordinating necessary services and resources to address and resolve conflicts or ambiguities.
•Establish clear communication channels and protocols to ensure timely and effective information flow between all stakeholders.
•Oversee and manage any ambiguities with respect to Service Provider scope, interfacing, or contractual demarcations, providing necessary coordination, clarity, and guidance.
•Identify and implement mitigation measures to minimize any adverse impact on project timelines, service delivery, and costs arising from interface challenges.
•Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including airport personnel (Security, IT, Public Safety, FRS), other service providers, FM contractors, and various airport departments.
•Coordinate with external stakeholders such as External Authorities, Security (GID), Aviation Authority (GACA), Health care services, public utility contractors, Customs & Immigration, Third Parties, Statutory Authorities, Government departments, and External Utility Providers.
•Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations in managing interfaces.
•Maintain and update records related to the state of services, facilities, systems, and equipment.
•Attend various airport operations meetings to coordinate activities and ensure alignment with overall airport operations.
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
•Certification in Facility Management (CFM) or equivalent is desirable.
EXPERIENCE
•A minimum of 5 years of experience in interface management within large-scale projects, preferably in the aviation or construction industry.
•Proven experience in developing and implementing interface management plans.
•Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
•Experience working in a complex operational environment with multiple stakeholders
