Job description
THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading film distributor in the Middle East, handling theatrical releases for major studios.

THE ROLE

As an Associate Technical Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of film localisation for cinema releases including dubbing, editing, subtitling and delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage trailer and feature deliveries for select film projects from original screeners to fully localised DCPs for release
  • Coordinate the subtitling and dubbing process with regional vendors and studio teams
  • Oversee censorship schedules, ensuring prompt feedback to the studios and proposing efficient edit solutions within budget and timeline (training provided)
  • Liaise with studio technical operations teams to resolve localisation or delivery queries quickly and effectively
  • Support the sales and distribution team with film versioning, format delivery and technical troubleshooting for cinema releases across the region
  • Uphold strict content security standards throughout all stages of the localisation and delivery process.

Relocation to Dubai will be required – this is not a remote-working role.

THE PERSON

With solid experience in the digital cinema industry, you will have a good understanding of feature film mastering, localisation, subtitling and delivery workflows. Dubbing knowledge is an advantage, although training will be provided where needed.

Being organised and detail-oriented is essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are key, especially when working with international teams and external partners.
