Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute comprehensive manufacturing plans to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
- Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring all operations are within approved financial parameters.
- Lead the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Present performance metrics, project updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to ensure operational excellence and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and champion a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the management team and key business stakeholders.
- Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other Lean activities to identify and eliminate waste.
- Drive the adoption of automation and Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Lead the manufacturing budgeting cycle and ensure all operations remain within approved financial parameters
- Provide accurate reporting on budget performance, expenditures, and variances to senior leadership
- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies that enhance profitability and mitigate financial and operational risks
- Conduct regular financial reviews and forecasting to anticipate budget needs and adjust resource allocation accordingly
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as legal and regulatory requirements
- Promote a culture of innovation and best practice in all manufacturing activities
- Regularly review and update policies and procedures to reflect operational changes, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Proven experience in a high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) manufacturing setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement.
- Experience with automation, IoT, and Industry 4.0 technologies is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in the Oil and Gas equipment manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. An MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt is highly preferred.
- PMP or other project management certification is advantageous.
