A leading digital marketing firm in Malaysia seeks a Content Writer to produce high-quality SEO-optimized content. You will be responsible for creating 15-20 pieces weekly while collaborating with SEO specialists to enhance brand visibility. Ideal candidates should possess strong writing and research skills and a degree in a related field. The role offers a gross salary of RM 4,000, annual increments, bonuses, and a hybrid work environment with flexibility to work from home three days a week.
Write high-quality, engaging, and conversion-driven on-page content that improves SEO performance while maintaining brand voice, tone, and positioning.
Produce 15–20 SEO‑optimised content pieces per week, including long‑form articles, landing page content, and supporting SEO pages, without compromising quality.
Create long‑form SEO articles (800–1,500 words) designed to rank, engage readers, and convert traffic into qualified leads which is also optimized for AEO/GEO.
Apply persuasive writing principles (CTAs, search intent alignment, problem–solution framing) to drive enquiries, sign‑ups, or conversions.
Rewrite, edit, proofread, and refresh existing content to improve clarity, engagement, keyword targeting, and conversion effectiveness.
Ensure all content is factually accurate, well‑structured, and supported by credible references and sources.
Source, validate, and reference authoritative data, studies, and industry sources to strengthen credibility and trustworthiness.
Identify content gaps, keyword opportunities, and topic clusters aligned with client business objectives.
Leverage AI‑powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Bard, Perplexity AI, SurferSEO) to accelerate research, ideation, outlining, and drafting while maintaining editorial judgment and quality control.
Collaborate with SEO specialists, strategists, and account teams to align content output with overall SEO and lead generation goals.
Demonstrate the ability to independently refine AI‑assisted drafts into publication‑ready, high‑performing content.
Strong command of written English is mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to write engaging, research‑backed, and conversion‑focused content at scale.
Strong research skills with the ability to identify, evaluate, and cite reliable sources.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
1–2 years of relevant writing or content marketing experience; agency experience is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with high output expectations and quality standards.
