Job Description:

1. Process Development & Optimization:

• Develop, optimize, and monitor injection molding processes to ensure high-quality production.
  
• Set up and adjust molding parameters to achieve optimal performance, cycle times, and product quality.
  

2. Medical Plastics Expertise:

• Apply your expertise in medical plastics to ensure that all injection molding processes meet the stringent requirements for medical-grade products.
  
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  

3. Mold Setup & Maintenance:

• Oversee the installation, setup, and maintenance of injection molds.
  
• Work closely with tooling engineers to ensure molds are properly designed and maintained for optimal performance.
  

4. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to molding defects, machine performance, and process variations.
  
• Implement corrective actions to address process inefficiencies and product non-conformities.
  

5. Process Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation of molding processes, parameter settings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  
• Ensure that all changes to processes are documented and communicated effectively.
  
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing cycle time, minimizing scrap, and enhancing overall process efficiency.
  
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in injection molding technology and implement best practices.
  

7. Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure that all molded products meet or exceed quality standards.
  
• Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality and consistency of molded parts.
  
• Work closely with production, quality, and tooling teams to support new product launches and ongoing production.
  
• Provide technical guidance and training to operators and technicians on best practices in injection molding.
  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
  
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molding, particularly within the plastic manufacturing industry.
  
• Expertise in medical plastics is a significant advantage.
  
• Proficiency in using injection molding machines and related software.
  
• Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, mold design, and material properties
  

Salary Range:

• From RM7000 to RM9500
