Job Title: Commodity Management Advisor

Responsibilities:

• Execute three to five-year plans & objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies for high-value commodities, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery.
• Lead projects or programs on a regional or national level, providing guidance to ensure objectives are met.
• Set tactical plans to achieve goals within established standards and policies.
• Drive continuous improvement, resolve problems, and standardize processes.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead global bidding initiatives, support pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts.
• Analyze market, pricing, and supplier data to inform strategic decisions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and supply continuity.
• Coordinate with internal teams on commodity plans and related systems.
• Act as the primary interface with suppliers for negotiations and relationship management.
• Track and report performance metrics regularly.
• Manage critical shortages and develop strategies for constrained commodities.
• Mentor and develop training plans for new employees.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry.
• Understanding of AP culture.
• Experience in contract negotiation, inventory programs, and supplier development.
• Skills in problem resolution and conflict management.
• Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
• Knowledge of global supply chain trends and strategic commodities.
• Strong engineering and financial analysis skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and implement continuous improvements.
• Strong relationship-building skills with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with responsibility and urgency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Desire to learn and handle dynamic challenges.
• Position may be performed remotely.
• Extended sitting and visual concentration may be required.
• Frequent overnight travel is expected.
