Job summary
A leading technology solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional to manage materials planning and movements. Responsibilities include developing policies for sourcing and inventory management while leading a team to meet continuous improvement goals. Ideal candidates hold a Master's degree and have extensive experience in management, particularly in a Director role.

- Previous management experience may have been in a Director role.

Purpose Statement: Ensure that quality parts are delivered to the production line, at the right time, in the right quantity and at favorable terms.
- Directs the planning and movement of raw materials, in-process goods, or completed product which meets customer expectations, financial objectives and applicable trade regulations.
- Develops policies, procedures, and processes related to materials sourcing, production planning, purchasing, inventory management, storage, and distribution.
- Measures key performance indicators and sponsors continuous improvement and innovation initiatives with an aim to perform better over time.
- Installs and cultivates a leadership team that achieves these capabilities.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the position's manager.
- Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
