Job summary
A leading retail company in Malaysia is seeking a Retail Manager. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, instilling high standards of customer service, and effectively organizing shop operations. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the retail or F&B industry and must be proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. The ideal applicant will possess strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, positive personality. This role requires shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum STPM with retail manager experience or Diploma/Degree in any field.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- At least 3 years of experience in the retail/F&B industry.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets set.
- Instill a standard of friendly, professional customer service.
- Implement efficient in-store training programs.
- Organize and operate the shop efficiently.
- Maintain sufficient stock levels.
Skills
Education
- Achievement of sales target set.
- Instil a high standard of friendly, professional customer service.
- Work hand in hand with the Area Manager in the employment of high caliber sales staff and the maintenance of adequate staffing levels.
- Implementation of an efficient in-store training program.
- Efficient organization and operation of the shop.
- Maintenance of sufficient stock level at all times.
- Minimum STPM with retail manager experience OR Diploma/ Degree in any field.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the retail / F&B industry.
- Good interpersonal & follow-up skills, adaptable and result-oriented.
- Possess outgoing personality, positive and high energy level.
- Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
