With offices in both Hamburg and Berlin, we're growing; and looking for a passionate colleague like yourself to join our engineering team long-term. In your role as Deployment Engineer, you will be part of our client deployment team, responsible for guaranteeing a smooth delivery of our solutions and supporting our clients. You will be working closely with our pre-sales engineering as well as product development teams to align on client needs and product requirements.

The role is located in Malaysia.

What you’ll do:

• Working in the Client Deployment Team, guaranteeing smooth delivery of solutions including high-/low level design with final technical deployment and integration of the solutions.
• Planning, preparing and setting up lab, test & production environments for client & partnership deployments.
• Installing and configuring cloud native solutions using Kubernetes
• Automation, automation, automation – especially in our technical deployment and identifying ways to speed up these processes.
• Maintaining, monitoring, administrating, and updating current deployments, ensuring stability of solutions.
• Help with incident management, 2nd level support, error analysis & classification,
• Coordinating customer requests and disseminating client information
• Unlocking operational efficiency in deployment and support procedures.

Our ideal new colleague:

• 7–10 years of experience in the telecom industry, ideally in roles focused on IMS, VoLTE, or core mobile network infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux-based systems: installation, administration, and operations.
• Solid understanding and experience working with complex networking environments including:
  • Routing & switching
  • Firewalls
  • Load balancers / traffic distribution techniques
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications systems, especially 4G (EPC), 5G Core, and IMS architecture.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes administration and containerized telecom workloads.
• Strong debugging and tracing skills – confident using tools like Wireshark to analyze signaling and network flows.
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing concepts, particularly in cloud-native telecom deployments.
• Working knowledge of telecom signaling protocols and standards, especially SIP, Diameter, and RTP.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud providers such as AWS and GCP, preferably deploying or managing telecom workloads in such environments.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and customers.
