Job summary
A leading resort company in Malacca City is seeking a G.O Front Desk Manager to oversee reception activities and manage an international team. The ideal candidate should be sociable, multilingual, and attentive, ensuring guests have a memorable stay. Responsibilities include motivating staff, developing local sales, and maintaining resort standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with diverse guests and participate in various activities on-site.
Qualifications
- Fluency in at least two languages is a must.
- Sociable personality to connect with guests.
- Experience in managing teams is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and motivate an international team of 20 to 25 employees.
- Coordinate all reception activities.
- Ensure guests' expectations are met during their stay.
- Develop local sales strategies in the resort.
- Guarantee compliance with health and safety standards.
Skills
- Sociable, you know how to connect with our guests and build a trusting relationship.
- Helpful and attentive, finding the right solution for all our guests.
- Multilingual, you master at least two languages and are comfortable with international guests.
- Oversee, unite and motivate an international team of 20 to 25 employees (evaluations, training with the University of Talents, development opportunities...)
- Coordinate all reception activities
- Inform, coordinate and organise the customers' stay and meet their expectations
- Develop local sales in the resort
- Guarantee compliance with Club Med health and safety rules as well as maintenance of the resort's assets
- Unite and motivate your teams around the defined objectives and support their development
