Job summary

A leading technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure key supplier performance within a dynamic manufacturing setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technical Field; or at least 5 years in a Quality Engineering capacity in a manufacturing environment.
• Hard goods manufacturing experience with emphasis in electro-mechanical assembly and Machining/Metal Fab industries.
• Knowledge of common quality tools/methodologies.
• Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced computer skills, including statistical/data analysis and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Leads all efforts focused on supplier quality performance within Ichor Supply Chain.
• Drive investigation, resolution and prevention of supplier product and process nonconformances.
• Identify and implement effective supplier process control systems to support development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing.
• Assist in the implementation of process controls and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed requirements.
• Communicates quality issues and overall performance levels with suppliers.
• Support completion and maintenance of risk analysis with suppliers.
• Support design engineering in the completion of product verification and validation within the supply chain.
• Owns supplier quality function metrics and communications supplier performance internally.
• Support all assigned initiatives identified by management in the improvement of Ichor Supply Chain.

Job description

Ichor Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is hiring for a Supplier Quality Engineer, located at our facility in Shah Alam, Malaysia. This position is focused on the development and performance of our components, materials, and special process suppliers. You will develop and maintain quality methodologies and procedures relating to the supplier quality function. Providing quality engineering support within a dynamic and fast-paced new product development and production manufacturing environment you will ensure the success of our key suppliers as we continue to grow our business.
