Job summary

A logistics company in Sabah is seeking a candidate to oversee sorting and delivery operations. Responsibilities include managing daily activities and ensuring customer satisfaction. Applicants should have strong leadership and communication skills along with a diploma or degree in relevant fields. Experience in logistics is advantageous. This position requires working 45 hours weekly with a rotational shift schedule.

Qualifications

  • Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on respective state law requirements.
  • Willing to work on a rational shift basis depending on business needs.
  • Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with postcodes / routing / mapping would be of good use.

Responsibilities

  • Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts.
  • Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable.
  • Monitor and report KPI compliance.
  • Ensure compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection.

Skills

Basic Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment

Education

Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines
