You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to‑day operation of the logistics operations for a country, actively supporting the objectives of the Supply Organization. You will manage 3rd Party Logistics Service Providers (3PL) on an ongoing basis. Working with the wider Supply team, you will implement solutions that optimize performance to deliver an efficient on‑time in‑full service to our customer’s distribution centers.
Measurement of performance will be in the form of cost and service deliverables. The role also involves a significant component of project management that will be key in delivering cost and service improvement initiatives.
In terms of financials, the incumbent will be the fully accountable for the preparation and management of the complete FG logistics budget spanning from Imports through to final delivery to customers.
Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, statistical science, or Operations Management or its equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years’ working experience in Logistics and Warehouse Operations determine priorities in a highly pressured working environment, self‑motivated, logical, and fully conversant with the whole procedures.
Experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, S&OP or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Knowledge in SAP OTC and PTD modules, MS Office (especially in MS Excel).
Has good interpersonal skills and strong command of both written and spoken English.
