About the RoleAs a CBRE Finance Business Partner, you will apply cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to work with clients on a wide range of small to medium sized investments and tax strategies to better understand and understand the future of their assets.
This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for the maintenance of accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
Here's a snapshot of your day:- Act as a trusted advisor by developing a strong understanding of the business and financial strategy
- Analyze financial data to guide decision-making, including revenue, expenses, and capital investments
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports using various data sources
- Conduct financial reviews and identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Support senior management with special studies and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with leaders on budget planning and resource allocation
- Lead by example, coach others, and uphold CBRE RISE values in all interactions
What You'll Need- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
