Your role:

This role will provide administrative support to the publishing functions and will involve a variety of administrative tasks including income tracking, dealings with the societies, overseas affiliates, and suspense research . Key responsibilities will include administration of all areas of Warner/Chappell Music’s Catalogues across Warner Chappell Music APAC & Global.

Here you'll get to:

• Identify and make claims for shortfalls in income from various territories.

• Liaise with counterparts across all affiliate offices, PRO/CMO, DSP and sub-publishers to ensure income flows are in line with expectations and resolve any interruptions or discrepancies.

• Ensure affiliate income queries are resolved.

• Provide the business with regular forecasts/updates by income providers (society/DSP/affiliate/third party).

• Assist the Income Tracking Team on projects including ad hoc forecasts and income analysis.

• Collaborate with the global Income Tracking teams to resolve and proactively prevent problems arising with the collection of income.

• Work closely with the regional Royalty and Copyright teams to both resolve and proactively prevent problems arising with the collection of income.

• Additional ad hoc responsibilities supporting administration purpose.

About you:

• Minimum Degree in Administration/Music/ Finance /relevant majors with 2 years income tracking experience or 1-2 years in Music Publishing or 3 years in Music Industry.

• Skills to analyse, extract & manipulate data from high volume datafiles.

• Able to read, write and speak English, Traditional & Simplified Chinese, Malay. Other Asian language is a plus.

• A forensic and detail-oriented approach to analysing data with a track record in delivering accurate results.

• Have Excel/Google Sheet capabilities including Piv ot Table & advanced formula.

• A results-oriented professional who thrives in a client-facing capacity, confidently managing relationships and communicating with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and hit time-sensitive deadlines.

• Possesses a blend of ambition, persistence, and commitment, with a strong appetite for learning and tackling new challenges.

• The ability to join dots, think laterally and understand both downstream and upstream impact of events.

• Excels in a structured environment, demonstrating the focus and discipline required to perform routine tasks with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Coordinator level.

We'd love it if you also had:

• Ability to write scripts to automate tasks.

• Proficiency with SQL/Snowflake queries (Joins, Subquery, etc).

• Experience with BI visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

• Experience with Power Query and Alteryx.

• Understanding of Performance Rights Organisation, international collection society structures and their licensing/distribution processes.

• A passion for music.
