Job summary

A technology company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Game Tester to design and execute testing plans for game projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, experience in game testing, and strong skills in communication and agile methodologies. This role involves collaboration with designers and programmers to ensure the quality of games. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of Mandarin is preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain test plans, test cases, test strategy, and execute test cases.
• Break down test tasks of versions, make statistical test results, and provide modification suggestions.
• Write test documents, test reports, and timely feedback on test quality.
• Communicate efficiently with relevant departments such as designers and programmers, and promote project progress together.
• Follow matters related to team personnel management.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, with computer or related majors.
• More than 1 or 2 years of work experience in game testing.
• Familiar with basic test theories and having good understanding and practice in test case design.
• Familiar with non-functional test design and having practice in executing cases.
• Familiar with software and game development process; familiar with agile project management and standardized project management practical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills in English is a must, and Mandarin skills is preferred.
• Knowledge of programming language is preferred, familiar with at least one scripting language.
• Having experience in FPS/RPG games, and blockchain testing is preferred.
