Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a technician to handle the troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate should possess a certificate in a technical field and have 3-5 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. This is a full-time position based in Kedah, Malaysia, offering an engaging work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to all manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical control and mechanical problems.
- Identify, prepare and present solutions to equipment problems.
- Assist new equipment commissioning to verify testing is done correctly.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and 5S standards.
Education
Responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing, problem solving and maintaining all manufacturing equipment.

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to all manufacturing equipment’s.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical control and mechanical problems.
- Identify, prepare and present solutions to equipment problems and continuous improvement projects.
- Assist new equipment commissioning to verify that the testing is done correctly and efficiency completed.
- Maintain effective communication level and foster teamwork.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and 5S standards.
- Participate in implementing and sustaining the BDPS program.
- Any other relevant and related responsibilities may be assigned to from time to time as required by superior.
Possess a Certificate in Electrical, Mechatronic, mechanical or similar technical field.
Min 3- 5 years relevant working experience.
