The Communication and Campaign Coordinator plays a key role in shaping and delivering the WWF Indonesia communication strategy, particularly in Kalimantan Forest Wildlife Programme, to raise visibility, advocate for key issues, and build engagement with partners, donors, media, and communities. This role supports the organization’s mission through producing publication materials, storytelling, campaign coordination, and multi‑channel content delivery that inspires action and builds trust with public and stakeholders in Arabela and Kapuas Hulu landscape (West Kalimantan), Sebangau Katingan landscape in Central Kalimantan, Mahakam site in East Kalimantan and Kayan site in North Kalimantan.

Palangkaraya (Kalimantan), Indonesia

• Integrated and implement an annual communication strategy aligned with organizational goals, advocacy agenda, and donor priorities for Kalimantan Forest Wildlife programme.
• Coordinate messaging across programs and departments to ensure coherence and consistency.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with local, national, and international media.
• Producing visualization (infographic, video, film, narrative) contain the success story, lesson learned of the selected project/theme.
• Identify and document testimonials, and community /champion voices from the field.
• Develop content calendars, schedule posts, and monitor analytics.
• Design and edit high‑quality reports that contribute to the Technical Progress Report related to the success/lesson learned, producing brochures, presentations, and impact materials for donors and partners.
• Lead the communication aspects of public campaigns, awareness events, and advocacy initiatives.
• Train and support staff and field teams in communication skills and basic media handling.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a communications role within an NGO or non‑profit setting.
• Proven track record in managing media relations, campaigns, and storytelling in the context of social/environmental causes.
• Experience working with grassroots communities and translating technical/programmatic content into accessible communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in [English + Local Language].
• Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills with attention to tone and cultural sensitivity.
• Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe), CMS (e.g., WordPress), social media platforms, and basic photography/video editing.
• Based in Palangka Raya with occasional travel to Jakarta, West Kalimantan, North and East Kalimantan included other project sites or events.
• Ability to work flexibly, especially during campaign periods or tasks as assignment from the supervisor.
