Business Development Specialist – Indonesia

Telum Media is expanding its Sales Team in Indonesia! We’re looking for a proactive Business Development Specialist who loves identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals.

This is a pure new business role—perfect for a driven hunter who thrives on achieving targets.

You will introduce PR agencies, brands, and corporate communications teams to Telum Media’s leading media database platform while managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify and approach potential clients across PR, media, communications, and brands
  • Build a strong and high-quality sales pipeline
  • Respond to inbound inquiries
  • Understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions
Sales Process Management
  • Prepare proposals and close new business opportunities
  • Work with Client Management to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Provide clear documentation of client needs
Reporting & Insights
  • Share market trends and client feedback with the regional team
What Success Looks Like
  • Meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Strong conversion rates across the sales pipeline
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in business development or sales (B2B preferred)
  • Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Strong understanding of Indonesia’s media, PR, communications, or marketing industries
  • Confident with outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Experience with HubSpot, SURFE, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is an advantage
  • Existing network within PR, media, or communications is highly valued
  • Energetic, self-motivated, target-driven mindset
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple opportunities
