Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Purchasing Staff in the shipping or mining industry.
• Ability to create purchasing documents for user-requested goods.
• Exceptional skills in tracking orders from creation to receipt.

Responsibilities

• Make plans for consumable needs based on warehouse stock.
• Search for potential vendors for quality and price.
• Track purchase and delivery status until receipt.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Purchasing Staff in the shipping or mining industry.
• Excellent in Ms.Office (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Have negotiation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and proactive skills.

Qualifications

• Make plans for consumable needs based on stock in the warehouse (diesel, oil, filters, paint, etc.).
• Search for potential vendors based on the best quality and price information.
• Track the status of purchases and delivery of goods from the time PR is created until the goods are received.
• Create purchasing documents for user‑requested goods according to the desired quantity and quality based on the description on the master list.
• Carry out the process of purchasing requested goods following procedures.
