Job summary

A leading oleochemical company is looking for a Sourcing Support Staff to manage procurement activities for Crude Palm Oil and Crude Palm Kernel Oil. The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in sourcing within the Oleochemical or FMCG industry, be fluent in English, and proficient in MS Office and SAP. Responsibilities include supporting procurement, monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role is based in North Sumatera.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in raw material sourcing and trading in the Oleochemical or FMCG industry.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to use MS Office & SAP Programs actively.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and procurement of CPO and CPKO from approved suppliers.
• Monitor market information including pricing and availability.
• Prepare procurement documents such as Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order.

Who We’re Looking For?

• Fluent in English,

What You’ll Be Doing?

The Sourcing Support Staff is responsible for supporting the sourcing and procurement activities of key oleochemical raw materials, particularly Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO). This role ensures stable supply, competitive pricing, and compliance with quality standards to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the sourcing and procurement of CPO and CPKO from approved suppliers, mills, and traders.
• Monitor and collect market information, including pricing trends, availability, and supply-demand conditions of CPO/CPKO.
• Prepare and manage procurement documents such as Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), contracts, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Purchasing, PPIC, Production, QC, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and correct specifications.
• Track and follow up delivery schedules, volumes, and quality compliance in accordance with company standards.
• Support supplier evaluation and performance monitoring, including pricing, lead time, and reliability.
• Assist in price comparison and negotiation preparation for raw material purchases.
• Coordinate with the logistics team for transportation, weighing, and receiving processes.
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly sourcing reports including market price updates, purchasing realization, and raw material forecasting.
• Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
