A secure patient transport provider in Maidstone is seeking a Mental Health Transport Assistant to support and transport vulnerable service users. Responsibilities include providing a professional service, adhering to safety regulations, and assisting in patient assessments. This full-time position offers extensive training and a competitive salary with various enhancements for specific shifts.
To support and transport vulnerable service users as part of a team.
To be able to attend the office within one hour during on-call shifts.
Maintain Enhanced DBS (organised and paid for during Induction).
To provide a professional and caring service for all patients whilst in our care.
To ensure that at all times patient safety remains paramount, and safe systems of work are adhered to.
To support the care of patients during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
Safe use of Company vehicles and equipment, preparing required patient paperwork and driving to local and national locations.

Mental Health Transport Assistant Full-time 40.3 hours contract - Worked on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, alternating between 4 days and 4 nights.
Due to the nature of the business and client requirements, we reserve the right to change the working times with reasonable notice. Flexibility may be required due to patient care provisions which may result in over-runs or reduced hours depending on workload.
This contract is paid at a blended rate of £13.14 p/h (Day, Night and Weekend Shifts). Annual remuneration to start from £27,580.26 based on expected hours.
