A leading health organization in Liverpool seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Medical Engineer to support the maintenance and safety of medical equipment. You'll be involved in routine checks and repairs, ensuring device functionality and compliance with safety standards. Job OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is keen to learn new skills and advance their career. You should be highly professional, well‑organised and capable of working under pressure. You will join our experienced team in providing a medical equipment management, maintenance, repair and support services for the Trust and other healthcare providers in the area. You will be educated in a suitable engineering subject with a basic understanding of medical device functionality and safety requirements. You will receive comprehensive training and support in your role, and you are expected to demonstrate your desire to continue your professional development by reaching defined learning goals and successfully completing internal and external training courses.
Main duties of the jobAs a Band 3 Medical Engineer you will support the maintenance, calibration, and safety testing of medical equipment across clinical departments, working under the supervision of senior engineers. You will ensure devices are functioning reliably and safely, contributing directly to patient care and clinical efficiency.
