Our award-winning manufacturer of short run Paper-Over-Board Rigid boxes is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude to join its box and binder wrapping team. The company's products are produced to a high standard of quality, often involving complex processes.

The role involves producing high-quality rigid presentation boxes, including cases and trays.

1. Wrapping rigid box trays and POB cases in short to medium run lengths, either by hand or using various automation levels.
2. Operating automatic and semi-automatic machines such as gluing, edge turning, box pressing, wrapping, and case-making machines.
3. Ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards.
4. Following production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
5. Performing equipment setups and clean-downs.
6. Maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness and safety.
7. Identifying and resolving issues impacting production performance using practical problem-solving techniques.
8. Using software systems to acquire job information and report progress promptly.
9. Applying Lean principles to continuously improve productivity.

1. Technical expertise in operating semi-automatic box production equipment, including box wrappers, automatic gluing machines, and hand wrapping.
2. Good glue management, edge turning, and spotting skills.
3. Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
4. Proficiency with a folding bone.
5. Ability to work quickly and precisely.
6. Teamwork skills for working on a production line or independently.
