We re hiring a Material Planner to join a leading systems integration company delivering high-impact projects across energy, renewables, water and manufacturing. This is a permanent role based in Staffordshire, ideal for someone who thrives on keeping production running smoothly by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

As a Material Planner, you ll play a critical part in supporting the production team with materials forecasting, stock management and supply chain coordination. Key Responsibilities

  • Work with production and project teams to plan and control materials for multiple projects

  • Use MRP systems to forecast component requirements and balance supply with demand

  • Maintain accurate stock levels, lead times and order quantities to support production schedules

  • Support stores and production teams to ensure material control and traceability

  • Prepare management reports to give visibility on material planning performance

Key Requirements

  • Experience in a Material Planner, Production Planner or similar supply chain role

  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and strong Excel skills

  • Organised and methodical, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Knowledge of electrical components or an electrical background is desirable
