A well-established manufacturing business in Scarborough is seeking a skilled HR Generalist/Senior HR Advisor to provide HR guidance across the employee lifecycle. Join a well established manufacturing business in Scarborough where people, culture and continuous improvement sit at the heart of the operation. This full time, office based role offers broad HR responsibility, hands on support and the chance to shape people processes across a busy site.
- Provide day to day HR guidance across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Support ER cases including investigations, disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
- Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, onboarding documents and site compliance.
- Work closely with managers to strengthen capability through coaching and clear HR advice.
- Support recruitment activity, onboarding and induction for new starters.
- Contribute to people led projects such as engagement, wellbeing, training or process improvement.
- Build strong working relationships across Production, Operations, Engineering and Support teams.
- Experience in HR within manufacturing, engineering or fast paced environments.
- Confident advising managers and handling a range of HR and ER queries.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and compliance.
- People focused, calm and solutions oriented with a practical approach to day to day HR.
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 is desirable but experience will be valued equally.
