Legal Counsel jobs in United Kingdom

We are seeking a German-qualified Commercial Lawyer to support our customer, a dynamic, consumer-facing company operating at the intersection of advertising, fundraising, and entertainment. This is a short-term contract role, ideal for a commercially minded legal professional with a strong understanding of B2C operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide pragmatic legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters, particularly those involving B2C arrangements.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including marketing agreements, service provider contracts, and promotions.
3. Ensure compliance with German and EU regulations, particularly in consumer law, data protection, and e-commerce.
4. Advise on regulatory frameworks relevant to advertising and/or gambling, if applicable.
5. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across legal, marketing, and operations.

Requirements:

1. Fully qualified lawyer in Germany.
2. Demonstrated experience in commercial law, ideally within a B2C context.
3. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
4. Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
