GBP 35,000 - 45,000
Job description

Looking to be part of something bigger—something that offers challenge, growth, and long-term stability? As a Network Coordinator within our brand-new Network Operations Hub, you’ll be at the centre of one of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure projects: the M25.

With 15 years of investment and development still ahead, this is your opportunity to join a project with a secure future—while playing a vital role in how we manage the UK’s busiest motorway network. You’ll work closely with delivery teams, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure that road space is used efficiently, disruption is minimised, and operational excellence is achieved every day.

This is more than a coordination role—it’s a chance to shape real-time decisions, collaborate across multiple teams, and help keep millions of people moving safely and smoothly. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, solution-focused environment where your input matters and your career has room to grow.

If you’re organised, motivated, and excited by the idea of working on a legacy project with long-term impact, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Network Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of operations—making sure the M25 and surrounding network run smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to road users. Your work will support strategic planning and real-time decision-making that keeps millions moving safely every day.

In this vital role, you will:

Manage road space bookings from submission to approval, ensuring compliance with National Highways and local authority guidelines

Review and monitor requests to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project timelines

Collaborate with applicants and stakeholders to resolve conflicts, explore shared opportunities, and coordinate works across multiple teams

Process permits, Traffic Orders, and special requests, maintaining full regulatory compliance at all times

Work cross-functionally with internal teams, contractors, local authorities, and utilities to drive coordination and transparency

Keep systems updated, accurately transferring data between internal and external platforms (NOMS and NEMS)

Participate in coordination meetings, contributing to smarter planning and proactive solutions within the Operations Hub

Support continuous improvement, helping to refine systems, reporting, and stakeholder engagement strategies

Provide real-time operational support, responding quickly to urgent requests and ensuring road space is always optimised

Who We’re Looking For – Key Requirements

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with diverse teams. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Sharp attention to detail and confidence in analysing data to inform decisions

Clear, professional communication skills across all levels and teams

Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, operational setting

Familiarity with IT systems and scheduling tools

Background in highways, transport, or network operations would be great

Understanding of road space management processes, including National Highways permits and systems such as NOMS/NEMS

  • Inspiring : Champions curiosity and continuous improvement, role modelling change and managing risks to achieve project outcomes.
  • Energising: Role models positive and energised project focussed attitudes towards and continuous improvement.
  • Challenging : seeks and advocates improvements to add value and drive continuous performance.
  • Challengeable : Encourage a culture of skilled challenging and seek to understand and explore challenge to enable improvement.
  • Influencing : Builds commitment and consensus, and role models CPS leadership behaviours to deliver our goals.

Why Work for Us?
