• Provide high-quality technical support and advice to the school.
• Prepare devices for use, including desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, and iPads.
• Help maintain and support the IT hardware estate, including educational technology (classroom desktops, laptops, AV) and non-educational technology (CCTV, VOIP phones, access control).
• Document fixes and workarounds to common problems for sharing across the wider IT support network.
• Participate in incident investigation, including retrieving and securely sharing CCTV footage.
• Assist in testing and installing new software under the guidance of the Senior IT Technician.
• Ensure new starters receive proximity ID Badges, are enrolled on access control systems, and receive IT induction covering acceptable usage policy, mandatory training, and basic equipment use.

The Microsoft Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 programme, developed in partnership with Microsoft, aims to build Azure cloud capabilities within your organisation.

This apprenticeship supports Microsoft's Get On 2021 campaign, a five-year initiative to help 1.5 million people build careers in technology and connect 300,000 to tech jobs.

The programme enables apprentices to:

• Learn about on-premise and cloud-enabled technologies and services
• Gain technical knowledge relevant to employers and the market
• Earn an Azure Fundamentals Qualification and a Microsoft 365 Fundamentals qualification
• Get introduced to Windows, Linux, and PowerShell

Tools and technologies covered include Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, AWS, Linux, and PowerShell.
