Certain Advantage is hiring for a Bid Manager to join a growing team within a high-impact, customer-focused organisation in the waste management sector.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to lead complex bid submissions across a range of public and private sector clients. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop commercially sound, client-focused solutions that meet legal, technical, and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
* Leading bid strategies and managing the coordination and production of high-quality tender submissions.
* Aligning bid proposals with procurement regulations, client expectations, and commercial objectives.
* Working closely with teams across Operations, Legal, SHEQ, Finance, and Technical to gather critical inputs.
* Supporting contract structuring and negotiation, ensuring all risks are appropriately addressed.
* Championing continuous improvement in bid processes and deliverables.
* Maintaining and strengthening relationships with local authorities, commercial clients, and internal stakeholders.

The Individual
We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
* A successful track record in bid and project management, ideally in the waste management sector.
* Strong knowledge of procurement law and public/private sector bid routes.
* Experience producing technical, legal, and commercial bid documentation.
