Web Application Developer – Graduate considered!

A fantastic opportunity for a talented Software Developer to join an industry-leading software company in Cambridge. The role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of web application infrastructure projects using a diverse toolset, with an emphasis on JavaScript, Node.js, and related frameworks. This position is open to both Graduates and experienced Software Development professionals.

Location – Cambridge office (3 days on site, 2 days remote)

Salary – £35,000 – £80,000 + comprehensive benefits (£35k for new graduates, up to £80k for highly experienced candidates with mentoring capabilities)

Requirements for Web Application Developer – Graduate Considered

• Experience with JavaScript, ideally including Node.js and related technologies/frameworks
• Academic excellence, including a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree from a leading university, plus AAB at A Level (or equivalent UCAS points)
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and stay updated with emerging frameworks and tools
• Knowledge of Python and Java is beneficial
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities for Web Application Developer – Graduate Considered

Work on web applications using a diverse set of JavaScript technologies. Opportunities to work across the stack, with current tech including:

Web (UI): JavaScript (backbone.js, d3.js, three.js, pdf.js), Less/CSS

Web (Backend): Node.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis

• Develop, deploy, and maintain web application infrastructure
• Contribute innovative ideas to the team
• Potential to mentor junior staff
