This role will form a critical part of the Technology Enterprise Resilience team which resides within the Enterprise Resilience function to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing oversight of our Critical & Important Business Services, supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with our strategic objectives and regulatory expectations. This role will work closely with business & technology partners across the firm globally.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Resilience and Recovery Engineer with a specific focus on technology platforms (Compute Infrastructure / IaaS Cloud / Storage) to strengthen our technology platforms’ ability to withstand, recover, and adapt to disruption. This role focuses on engineering resilience into our infrastructure, Cloud IaaS, and network connectivity, ensuring that critical technology services remain reliable and compliant with evolving regulatory expectations.
You will operate at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and operational excellence, embedding resilience across our technology landscape and driving continuous improvement in our readiness for severe and plausible disruptions.
This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge and strategic resilience expertise, applying a resilience and risk lens across the full technology stack. You will assess, design, and continuously improve resilience capabilities across infrastructure, platforms, and services — leveraging data, evidence, and testing to identify vulnerabilities, measure resilience posture, and drive improvement.
