A healthcare provider seeks an experienced Remote Pharmacist to support prescribing audits in North West Surrey. This part-time, flexible position requires an independent prescribing qualification and offers remote work opportunities. The pharmacist will conduct audits on antibiotic usage and ensure quality patient care through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Remote Pharmacist – North West Surrey Integrated Care Services (NICS). This is a fixed-term maternity cover role for an existing prescribing pharmacist, with flexible hours from home (6 hours per month) to support monthly prescribing audits for AIC and UTC.
North West Surrey Integrated Care Services (NICS) is a GP federation in North West Surrey, comprising 37 practices that collaborate to improve access to primary care for local patients.
To support practices and patients by providing innovative, high-quality GP-led primary care services and improving equitable access to healthcare.
To deliver high quality, responsive and compassionate health care services in collaboration with practices and other health providers across Surrey.

Job Title: Remote Pharmacist NICS
Reports to: Medical Director
The post holder will be an experienced pharmacist with an independent prescribing qualification. They will work within a multidisciplinary team to resolve medication-related issues and enhance the quality and safety of care for registered patients in North West Surrey. This is a non-patient-facing role.
All information must be treated as confidential and handled according to data protection legislation and NICS policies.
Implement and lead on health, safety and infection control practices; ensure training and adherence to guidelines; maintain safe work areas and report hazards.
Promote equality, diversity and rights of patients, carers and colleagues; respect privacy and dignity; provide non-judgmental, patient-centered service.
Participate in training and annual performance reviews; maintain personal development records.
Recognise the importance of effective team communication and adaptable communication methods with patients and carers.
Essential qualifications: Registered Clinical Pharmacist; Independent Prescriber
UK registration required. DBS disclosure may be required.
