Job summary

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an HR Business Change Partner for a 6-month contract in Edinburgh. This role involves leading complex organisational change initiatives, managing multiple HR projects, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to provide effective HR solutions. Candidates should have proven experience in restructuring and TUPE processes, along with strong organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restructuring and TUPE processes.

  • Confidence in managing complex employee relations cases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead organisational change programmes including TUPE and redundancy processes.
  • Manage multiple HR projects concurrently.
  • Act as a trusted HR generalist handling sensitive employee relations.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders for HR advice.
  • Ensure alignment between local delivery and global HR standards.

Core-Asset Consulting is working on behalf of a leading global financial services organisation to recruit an HR Business Change Partner. This will be an initial 6-month day rate contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of complex organisational change initiatives within a global HR model.

Skills/Experience
  • Proven experience delivering restructuring, TUPE and redundancy programmes.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Broad HR knowledge, with confidence in managing complex ER cases.
  • Understanding of global HR operating models and how to deliver within them.
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead organisational change programmes, including restructuring, TUPE transfers and redundancy processes.
  • Manage multiple HR projects concurrently, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Act as a trusted HR generalist, who can manage complex and sensitive employee relations cases.
  • Operate effectively within a global HR framework, ensuring alignment between local delivery and global standards.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide pragmatic and solutions-focused HR advice.
  • Balance strategic priorities with hands‑on implementation, ensuring actions are both practical and effective.
