The Company: Seeking a talented and innovative Bedding Designer. As a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of home textile products, they are committed to designing and supplying high-quality, innovative items to their customers.

The Role:

• Develop and create new textile designs and patterns for their product line
• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and conceptualize ideas
• Research current trends and consumer preferences in the home textile industry
• Create sketches and digital renderings of designs using CAD software
• Select appropriate colours, patterns, and materials for each design
• Prepare design presentations for internal stakeholders and clients
• Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design or a related field
• Proven experience in textile design, preferably in home furnishing
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD programs
• Strong understanding of textiles, fabric construction, and printing techniques
• Excellent artistic abilities and a good eye for colour, texture, and patterns
• Knowledge of current textile design trends and technologies
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
