Role: ServiceNow is seeking a Partner Technology Strategist to support our Global Alliance Partners. In this role, you will provide technology strategy, solution development, and ongoing communication of the latest ServiceNow solutions/capabilities. You will evangelize ServiceNow’s mindshare to our partner community to enable them to increase their consumption, evolve our solutions, sell effectively, and extend the ServiceNow value proposition. You will collaborate closely with other ServiceNow pre-sales resources globally to create synergies between partner and ServiceNow strategies within each target route to market.
What you get to do in this role:
- Lead architecture and design engagements with Partners on how ServiceNow meets Business/IT needs and how our Partner can transform industries using ServiceNow as a backbone for their solutions
- Evangelize our Global Solution Framework to partners, creating and building joint solutions/offerings to monetize their intellectual property and domain expertise
- Expand beyond technology or HRM frameworks into Enterprise level frameworks such as APQC and eTOM to cover full enterprise needs
- Demonstrate products based on business initiatives and outcomes focused on value delivery
- Stay current on product developments to guide partners effectively
- Build trusted advisor relationships at top levels within partner accounts
- Provide thought leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
- Coordinate with Partner leadership on sales and delivery enablement around solutions
- Participate in and lead awareness and enablement activities for partner solutions
- Conduct Business Reviews with account teams
- Mentor and train colleagues within the organization
- Lead the creation of best practices, white papers, workshops, and other knowledge-sharing activities
- Oversee and ensure the successful completion of Partner initiatives in joint business plans
- Promote ServiceNow training and sales tools to partners, including updates on platform advancements
- Share knowledge and promote best practices within the Solution Consulting team
- Travel for Partner, Customer, and Organizational activities (~25%)
Qualifications
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools, automating workflows, analyzing insights, or exploring AI’s industry impact
- 7+ years of Pre-Sales Solution Consulting experience
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud computing
- Understanding of multiple technical domains: application, data, integration, big data, mobility, analytics
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture principles: SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, automation
- Curiosity and passion for researching emerging technologies and developing innovative solutions
- Ability to quickly understand industry/vertical business challenges and how ServiceNow can transform them
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to articulate business issues and solutions effectively
- Business judgment, strategic thinking, and prioritization skills
- Executive presence with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage change and ambiguity, thriving in dynamic environments
- Skill in explaining complex topics clearly and providing practical guidance
- Ability to collaborate across multiple organizational levels
- Experience in key areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, AI Operations, DevOps, Security, Risk Management, HCM, Financial Management, User Experience, Customer Engagement
Experience that will help you stand out:
- Experience with ServiceNow or competitive product suites
- Current ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist)
- Platform development experience on ServiceNow or other platforms
Additional notes: This role involves approximately 25% travel.
