A well-regarded primary school in Colchester seeks a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead learning and support pupils. The role involves classroom management, delivering interventions, and working collaboratively with teachers. Applicants should have HLTA status or strong classroom experience, with a keen understanding of the Primary curriculum. This temporary position is full-time from Monday to Friday with the possibility of becoming permanent. The school values a nurturing approach and team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a class during teacher absence.
- Ability to deliver targeted academic interventions.
- Knowledge of effective classroom management techniques.
Responsabilités
- Lead whole-class learning when required.
- Deliver small-group and 1:1 support to pupils.
- Assist with planning and assessment activities.
