What Does a Cover Supervisor Do?

No two days are ever the same — and that's what makes it brilliant! Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre‑prepared lessons to classes of eager learners
• Keeping students engaged, focused, and on‑task
• Bringing your own sparkle, confidence, and personality to the room
• Managing behaviour positively and professionally
• Adapting to different subjects and year groups throughout the day
• Being that reliable, friendly face students look forward to seeing
• Supporting the wider school team with energy and enthusiasm

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has CACHE Level 2/3 qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with young people
• Is confident managing a classroom of students aged 11-16
• Can communicate clearly, positively, and professionally
• Can keep calm under pressure and bring out the best in every student
• Is flexible, adaptable, and happy to jump into new subjects and settings
• Has a positive attitude and loves working with young people
