The RMS IWSS Global Sustainment Team is in search of a Project Engineering Manager to serve as the IWSS Global Sustainment Field Service Leader for Radar Sensor Systems and Directed Energy products. This position is a dynamic and fast paced role leading and supporting a team of 25+ Field Service Engineers who provide world-wide support to fielded products. The selected candidate will also provide support to Logistics Project Managers and Program Management stakeholders across multiple programs with proposal development efforts to identify staffing needs, tasking, and support requirements. Functional roles & responsibilities include supervising staff by providing direction of daily operations using established policies, procedures & guides, coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection & training; performance assessments, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. As part of the IWSS RMS leadership team, this person will assist management with strategic planning, 1LMX initiatives, employee engagement & retention, and organizational development as required; interact with key stakeholders across RMS including Program Management, Program Integration Leads, and Product Engineering Teams. This position reports directly to the RMS IWSS Field Service & Virginia Beach Site Manager.

Basic Qualifications

1. Proven leadership experience and demonstrated full spectrum leadership ability including the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities, strong writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key program/project leaders (both internal and external to Lockheed Martin).

2. A strong working knowledge and complete understanding of principles, concepts, practices, and standards associated with product sustainment, including Field Engineering, Integrated Logistics and Engineering principles.

3. Demonstrated experience with proposal development efforts requiring know of field service and projecting engineering capabilities and functions to successfully author Rough Orders of Magnitude and Basis of Estimates for capturing new business opportunities and for sustaining/growing/enhancing levels of work being performed on current contracts.

Desired skills

1. Comprehensive understanding of LM Command Media associated with International and Domestic Travel including IBNS, LMGI, and LMOSC and LM Global Mobility functions/operations.

2. Technical experience in the upgrade, sustainment, and maintenance of complex electronic systems including directed energy, military radar & launching systems, and naval combat systems in the field and/or land based customer facilitates.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
