This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can inspire, motivate and support pupils across a Primary School while also taking on responsibility for leading learning when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading whole‑class learning during teacher absence or as directed
• Delivering small‑group and 1:1 interventions to support progress
• Supporting teaching and learning across the primary school
• Assisting with planning, preparation and assessment under teacher guidance
• Promoting a calm, structured and positive learning environment
• Working closely with teachers, support staff and senior leaders

Full‑time position, Monday to Friday

Temporary role with potential to become permanent

Person Specification

• HLTA status or solid classroom experience
• Confident in leading learning and managing a class
• Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum
• Positive, proactive and able to use initiative

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable but not essential
