Job description

We are looking for a creative, visionary leader to build on the success of the excellent team at this busy 138-bedroom hotel a short stroll from Haydock Park Racecourse.

With a solid understanding of hotel operations, you will lead from the front, inspiring and supporting your team to deliver outstanding experiences at every stage of the guest journey. Creative thinking and a commitment to employee development and engagement will serve you well in this fantastic property.

This role reports to the Regional General Manager.

About the role

You are responsible for overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the hotel and managing ongoing profitability. Guiding and nurturing your team, you ensure all revenue, guest satisfactionand brand targets are met.

Duties include:

  • Managing budgetsand controlling expenditure
  • Recruiting, training and managinghotel employees.
  • Developing the team of committed HODs, preparing them for their next step, while ensuring a succession plan is in place for each role.
  • Ensuringcompliancewith health, safety and licensing laws, as well as maintaining property and amenities.
  • Continuously improving businessoperations through standard procedures, maximising revenue and monitoring employee performance.
