A prominent hotel group in Ballachulish is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager. This senior leadership position requires operational responsibility for the hotel, with a focus on elevating guest experiences and driving food and beverage performance. The Isles of Glencoe Hotel is a destination hotel set on the shores of Loch Leven, offering guests outstanding Highland scenery, warm hospitality, and a strong food and beverage experience as part of the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels.
Family owned since 1868, Crieff Hydro operates seven distinctive hotels across Scotland, each with its own character, and all built around genuine care for guests and staff alike.
We are now looking for an experienced Hotel Manager with a strong Food and Beverage background to lead this unique property and drive its continued success.
This is a senior leadership role with full operational responsibility, suited to someone commercially astute, people focused, and confident running a hotel where experience, service, and setting all matter.
You will have overall responsibility for the leadership and day to day operation of the hotel, ensuring high standards across all departments while delivering strong commercial performance.
You will lead, motivate, and develop your management team, creating a positive coaching culture that brings out the best in people.
You will drive revenue growth and profitability, with a particular focus on food and beverage performance and guest satisfaction.
You will work closely with central teams including Sales, Marketing, IT, and People, building strong relationships and ensuring the hotel is well supported.
You will ensure consistently high standards of service, presentation, and guest experience throughout the property.
Significant experience in a senior hotel or general management role within hospitality.
A strong food and beverage background with a clear understanding of what makes a great dining experience.
Commercial awareness with sound financial and operational management skills.
A confident, people focused leader who can inspire, motivate, and retain teams.
Experience working in rural or destination settings, with an understanding of leisure and group markets.
Good knowledge of Scottish tourism and the wider social and economic landscape.
