A new and exciting Junior Account Executive/Business Development/Commercial Broker opportunity has arisen working from the company’s West Yorkshire regional operation based in the heart of Leeds city centre.

This brokerage is one of the most progressive intermediaries operating in the UK today where they are currently going through a growth plan and developing new regional hubs throughout England. They are a very client focused organisation specialising in many bespoke insurance schemes and products, together with your run of the mill general insurance risks. There is currently a big push by the company for development this year and it is therefore a very good and exciting time to be joining this organisation.

Working closely with the 2 Directors/MD, this is a truly diverse role where you would be wearing a few hats. This opportunity would really help you learn and develop your trade within a professional commercial insurance environment, where there is massive scope to progress, and where you would also be working with somegreat people within the team.

You will be required to look after some existing clients and manage all the broking processes on new and existing cases, and in addition to this, you will be provided with some new business leads (probably smaller cases to start with) to follow up and to try and convert, where you will then retain within your book and to service thereafter. You would also be encouraged to make some of your own lead generation, attend networking events etc.

Ideally you will come from working previously in a commercial broker environment and it’s a must that you understand the different classes of commercial insurance and products. You will be self-motivated, confident, pro-active, and have a desire to succeed.

Excellent remuneration/package is rewarded in return, £25k to £30k, plus a very achievable bonus, pension plus other staff benefits.
