Responsibilities

Become a Retail Sales Assistant at The Works and be the heartbeat of our retail store. You’ll greet customers with a warm smile and help them leave happy and excited to unlock their imaginations. Your passion for our brand and products will be contagious and motivating, encouraging customers to return for more inspiration and products that satisfy their creative needs.

Some of our colleagues are BookTok influencers or Instagram creatives, crafting their latest shorts or stories with our in-store products — that’s encouraged here.

You’ll be the frontline in delivering our customer experience and supporting the Store Management team to keep the store running smoothly.

Keyholder Responsibilities

If you’re over 18, you’ll join as a Keyholder. Our Retail Sales Assistants support the Store Management team by opening, closing, and running the store when needed (holidays, days off, sickness, etc.), with training provided.

There are valuable skills to learn here, and you’ll receive our additional keyholding pay enhancement when holding keys.

If you’re under 18, you won’t be able to complete keyholding duties yet. When you turn 18, we’ll set you up for training so you can earn the additional keyholding pay enhancement when on keyholder duties.
