About the role

Content Sales is a dynamic division of TWDC responsible for digital distribution of the full slate of movies and TV content produced by The Walt Disney Company.

The Manager, Digital Stores plays a pivotal role in expanding Disney’s digital transactional business across key third‑party digital stores in Europe, covering both ownership (Electronic Home Video Licensing, EHVL) and rental (Transactional Video on Demand, TVOD) models. The individual will be working closely with clients in various EMEA markets to drive the sales of digital content.

This role is based in the Regional Digital Stores Management Team in London, covering global and local retailers, and has responsibility for the following key areas:

  • New releases: drive the successful launch of new content across digital stores in various EMEA markets to achieve revenue targets.
  • Catalogue: collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on catalogue projects and price promotional initiatives aimed at driving revenue from library content.
  • Project management and ad‑hoc: lead projects and ad‑hoc requests across external accounts and internal teams, focusing on finding efficiencies and revenue opportunities.

The fast‑growing, quick‑changing space crossing digital, technology and business would suit a commercially focused, organised and passionate business professional with a background in digital content. The individual should bring a high attention to detail, have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to project‑manage and work effectively under deadlines and in complex environments.

What will you do
  • Lead designated markets/accounts: Manage client relationships with specified accounts to drive on‑store featuring and placement of Disney content, aiming to achieve/exceed revenue targets in line with AOP.
  • Partner with the marketing team: Leverage trade marketing assets and investment in store management negotiations to maximize support for TWDC titles across digital stores.
  • Maintain a symbiotic relationship with the trade marketing team: optimise the owned and bought media campaigns on a client and territory level.
  • Work with commercial leads: ensure alignment and accurate implementation of deal terms.
Content Management
  • Ensure relevant systems (Salesforce) and internal trackers are updated and distributed to key internal stakeholders to ensure content availability. Coordinate with immediate team to implement enhancements required to such systems and trackers.
  • Work closely with the wider Store Management, Deal Management, Technical and Marketing teams to ensure that all clients have the required materials for upcoming releases and promotional events.
  • Reviewing, recommending and implementing pricing and windowing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on the annual price promotion strategy.
Analytics
  • Track sales and assist finance team regarding new release content forecasting.
  • Oversee and monitor content availability, pricing and windowing strategies and digital storefronts trends across markets.
Stakeholder Management
  • Effectively communicate applicable account/territory performance updates to relevant internal parties (e.g. regional senior management and local leadership).
  • Organise and attend business trips when required to participate in industry markets or internal events, preparing agendas and leading presentations.
  • Represent and champion the Store Management team with internal stakeholders.
Line Management
  • Direct line management of intern and coordinator, supporting them on day‑to‑day processes and leading their professional development.
  • Working closely with the supervisor, to ensure the wider team is aligned on deliverables and responsibility distribution.
What will you bring
  • Commercially focused professional, ideally with a background in digital content, preferably within digital store management across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Strong client management experience.
  • Proven ability to project‑manage and work effectively under deadlines in complex environments.
  • Experience in managing or supporting teams, including line management responsibilities.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, commercial).
  • Experience in content management, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Experience working in fast‑growing, rapidly evolving digital, technology, or business environments.
Skills required
  • Strong understanding of the different distribution models for film and TV content.
  • Strong commercial and content management acumen.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Presentation and negotiation skills, especially in client‑facing situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across various markets across EMEA.
  • Analytical skills for tracking sales, forecasting, and monitoring trends.
  • Proficiency in updating and managing internal systems and trackers, utilising Microsoft toolset and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Leadership skills to support/develop direct reports.
