Job description

About the role We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join our growing in-house marketing team at Aspray.

If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.

This is a hands‑on, varied role where you’ll play a key part in building the Aspray brand, supporting lead generation, and helping our franchise network succeed.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager as part of a small, agile team, giving you real responsibility, visibility, and the opportunity to shape how we do things.

While this role is execution‑driven, it’s not a “just follow the brief” position.

We’re looking for someone who brings creativity, ideas, and initiative, and who enjoys taking ownership of their work from concept through to delivery.

About Aspray

Aspray is a UK‑wide, FCA‑regulated network of loss‑assessing franchisees.

We support homeowners, landlords, and businesses through property insurance claims, acting on behalf of the policyholder to manage the claim from start to finish.

Alongside our claims business, we also operate a successful franchise recruitment arm, helping experienced professionals build their own businesses under the Aspray brand.

Content Creation & Execution
  • Create and schedule organic social media content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging channels).
  • Design engaging graphics using brand templates and guidelines.
  • Film, edit and produce short‑form video content, including Reels and other social‑first formats.
  • Support the creation of campaign assets, including static ads, videos and supporting visuals.
Blog & Website Support
  • Draft blog content based on content briefs provided by the Marketing Manager.
  • Upload and format blog content on WordPress, including basic on‑page SEO optimisation.
  • Support regular website updates, content changes and page improvements.
  • Ensure content is accurate, well‑presented and aligned with brand tone and compliance guidelines.
Email Marketing
  • Build and send regular newsletters to key audiences (insurance brokers, contractors, letting agents and landlords).
  • Work from templates to ensure consistency while keeping content engaging and relevant.
  • Support list management and campaign scheduling.
Campaign & Project Support
  • Assist with the delivery of paid and organic marketing campaigns, working to agreed timelines.
  • Support wider marketing projects such as marketing materials, merchandise, sponsorship assets and PR content.
  • Work with external agencies and suppliers when required, following internal briefs and processes.
Ways of Working & Collaboration

Work within a structured, process‑driven marketing system. Manage your own workload and deadlines, raising issues early where support or clarification is needed. Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve content, campaigns and efficiency. Support marketing reporting by maintaining accurate task updates and contributing to simple, actionable performance insights.

General Administration Duties
  • Escalating any issues to senior management.
  • Attendance at training or conference events as support may be required.
  • Any other duties as instructed by your line manager.
Skills & Experience
  • Essential: Experience in a marketing or content‑focused role.
  • Strong graphic design skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Confident filming and editing both short‑form and long‑form video content.
  • Ability to write clear, engaging copy for digital channels.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working to established processes while using initiative.
  • Desirable: Experience working with WordPress.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles.
  • Experience creating social content for multiple audiences or brands.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms.

Normal hours of work: Mon‑Thurs 9.00am to 5.00pm, times Friday 9.00am‑4.30pm. Attendance at exhibitions, conferences and other events may be required from time to time, including the occasional overnight stay.

Benefits

  • On‑site parking.
  • Private medical insurance (applicable upon completion of probationary period).
