Job description

TALA, known for activewear that keeps up with busy lifestyles, has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Built on largely organic socials, today we are a digital-first, multichannel women’s athleisure brand with a multi-faceted growth and retention strategy, trading on impressive numbers. TALA recently opened a 2,000-square-foot, double-fronted Store on London’s iconic Carnaby Street as part of our ambitious growth strategy, backed by a recent funding round.

Reporting to the Brand Director and working side by side with the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring TALA’s social content is best in class - from concept to capture to post-production. You will focus on working collaboratively with our in-house social and creative teams, ensuring each campaign's overall visual direction and aesthetic is social-first. Alongside this, you will capture and edit captivating and on-brand content for our social channels with a creative, strategic and trend-led mindset.

This role has 2 direct reports: a Content Creator and Junior Content Creator.

Tasks
Content creation
  • Spearhead and develop the generation of innovative and engaging content ideas for all social media campaigns whilst playing an active role in the location hunting and model scouting process of shoots, providing social creative direction and ensuring alignment with the overall vision.
  • Distil project requirements and tasks to appropriate team members, including but not limited to shotlists and editing schedules.
  • Collaboratively execute social-first campaign content for both primary and secondary channels to drive KPIs (engagement, reach, and growth).
  • Generate social campaign ideas and briefs. Attend campaign shoots with support from the Content Creators, wider Social Team and in-house Creative Team. Take a lead role in capturing high-quality content (statics + videos); and edit all videos promptly. Tailor static and video content to match the needs of all social media channels whilst ensuring brand visual identity is consistent.
  • Remain agile to capture ad-hoc content on non-campaign shoot days.
  • Be confident in front of the camera, excited & passionate to talk about the product to the TALA audience.
  • Continuously develop new ideas for content series and creation as a whole on the TALA platforms

  • Provide insights and recommendations on creative expertise and implement the overall social media content strategy, ensuring alignment with TALA brand guidelines and business objectives.
